CLUBS CLUBS CLUBS ~ UPDATED APRIL 2008 Club Leader: Lynn Knox Are you obsessed with quilting? This club is for you. This club keeps expanding with even more sessions for this ever-growing demand to join the group. Mark the second Monday or Tuesday of every month and come join the club. We'll have a new Absolutely Obsessed project every quarter and bonus projects, tips and new notions, and of course treats and recipes. Bring your machine and join the group for a terrific time. Prerequisite: Taken a least two class and completed projects. Club meets every month, 2nd Monday or Tuesday Club fee for 3 months ~ $ 36 Morning session ~ 9:30 ~ 12 noon Afternoon session ~ 1 ~ 3:30 pm Evening session ~ 6 pm ~ 8:30 pm All Day Sewing Date for members only: Saturday, May 8, 9:30 am ~ Late Nite BLOCK OF THE MONTH Butterfly Kisses Instructor: Lynn Knox Come with your machine and supplies every month for 7 months and join Lynn in a fun class to make this quilt. You have two choices to make, Green or Plum colored borders, Morning or Afternoon. Just $25 a month, which will include your borders in the final class. We just finished Block 3 but you are welcome to join now, it's not too late. 2 Spots left for this class. Come see us for details. Dates: Apr 30, May 28, June 25 ( other dates to follow ) FLANNEL CLUB This Club offers a collection of 12 fat quarters 4 times a year with a free pattern to make a lap size quilt. Along with the pattern you will get suggestions on borders. You then could decide how you would like to finish your quilt and give us a call to order your selection. Of course you will receive a discount for borders, binding and backings at 15 % off. We will be keeping these particular flannels out of reach to customers for two weeks to allow club members first dibs on the flannel collection. Well here it is! This club is designed to run twice a year, but instead of getting fat quarters you will be receiving the following: 1 ~ 2 meter piece, usually a feature Plus 8 half meter pieces, to be used as co-ordinates and blenders. You will receive a free pattern also that you may use with your Oriental fabrics. The cost will be $ 95 (Includes shipping) Next Shipment beginning of April 2008 QUILT SITTERS CIRCLE Hostess: Laurie Turik Quilters get together for Quilt Sitters' Circle meeting at Pleasant Valley Quilting. We meet on Sunday, every second month. Bring your Show and Tell or Bring and Brag to inspire your fellow members. It's great if it's an It's Okay project, but bring whatever you are working on…you know how we love ALL quilts. A Mary Ellen Hopkins' pattern (or maybe two) will be presented as well as the very latest in fabrics and “must have” products and equipment from Pleasant Valley Quilting.
